Santa Chuck. Yep, Santa Chuck walked away from Christmas Eve with a brand-new microwave oven.
BTW, the raffle wasn't fixed under Chinese Rules of Culture. It was well within the age-old Chinese Rule of Guanxi (Relationships) which governs all business and personal relationships in China and has for centuries.
It is the grease that makes the wheels turn in China everyday. And slippery as that makes life (and doing business) in China, I was happy that the wheel stopped on my marker. It is rare that a foreigner in China gains the particular Chinese privilege of Guanxi.

Santa Claus was so happy that I won the microwave that his pants fell down.

My Cleveland friends or Notre Dame classmates might
view it as a Cleveland triumph over Pittsburgh or a Notre Dame victory over Penn State, but no, I just settled for the microwave and a victory picture with the Bud Girl.
