Winter Holiday -2001
Winter English Camp
In my never-ending quest to spread Baseball to Mainland China, we play the first-ever Baseball Game on a frozen field in Panjin.
While temperatures that week hovered in the -15 C/5 F range, we caught a break on the last day of classes.
Game time temperature was -10°C/14°F.
The tundra was still frozen.
After a week of near zero temperatures and stuck in a classroom with me,
it was like an Indian Summer.
The students loved it
So did I.
