Li Yu Feng (see Chuck in China 3) and Cindy Zu at the "East Side Market" in Jinzhou. I visited Li's stand every day for staples: (water, Coke?, cigs, TP, etc.). Cindy and I were loading up on stuff for my third trip to Bijia Shan.

The Old Place
 

 

At Lao Difang (The Old Place) in Jinzhou the night we filmed the TV commecial . (L to R: me, Yang Wei the wonderful manager of Lao Difang, Teacher Donna from Canada, and Susan a teacher at the Jinzhou Television College - yes, there is such a place!) who is a good friend and is also studying English with me in hopes of going to Canada.

Don't let the eyes, hair, or squat fool you. Ivee Wong is an American teacher at Jinzhou College. The Jinzhou people were very confused, as she spoke only a little Chinese - with a perfect American accent.
